Psychology I (First Semester) is the study of the scopes and methods of Psychology
with a view to understanding the human organism, the basic phases of human behavior
and the relevance of psychology in today's society, such as motivation and desire,
memory, personality, emotion, stress, and therapy.

Advanced Placement Psychology will provide students an opportunity to acquire
a comprehensive understanding of the systematic and scientific study of the
behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are
exposed to the psychological facts, principles and phenomena associated with
each of the major sub-fields within psychology. They also learn about the methods
that psychologists use in their science and practice. Course outline will adhere
to the guidelines of the College Board. Students may receive college credit
after testing.
