The purpose of this course is to provide students with an increasingly in depth study of the multiple elements of theater as a collaborative art. The content should include but not be limited to the following: acting, pantomime, improvisation, voice and diction, movement, artistic discipline, musical theater, theater history and literature, roles and careers, playwriting, theater production, technical theater, and theater terminology.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an in depth study of technical theater skills by learning fundamentals that every stage technician needs to know.

The purpose of this course is to provide in-depth experiences in the study and practice of theatre arts and literature. The content should include, but not be limited to, the following: overview of the history of theatre and literature of the theatre; introduction to the fundamentals of theatre, including scenery construction, costuming, lighting, and make-up; and the fundamentals of acting.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an increasingly in depth study of theater history and period styles of acting. The content should include, but not be limited to following: theater history and literature, Greek and Roman theater, Medieval and Early Tudor period, Commedia dellarte, Elizabethan and Jacobean period, and Shakespearean theater.

The purpose of these courses is to enable students to develop and integrate acting skills through varied individual and group applications in acting. The content should include, but not be limited to, the following: acting styles and techniques, pantomime, improvisation, vocal production and interpretation, movement, artistic discipline, auditioning and casting, characterization, theatre history and literature, roles and technical elements of theatre, theatre terminology, aesthetic response and assessment, rehearsal procedures, and directing.
